Carpoint Battery Charger Intelligent 3.5A 6-12V
The Carpoint battery charger is a smart intelligent fully automatic charger for 6 and 12 Volt motorcycle and car batteries. The intelligent microprocessor controlled battery charger recovers deeply discharged or sulphated batteries. This processor ensures that the battery is charged in phases and that the charging process charges up to 2 times faster than standard battery chargers. The charger can charge lead-acid, calcium, AGM, start-stop and gel batteries and is suitable for charging at temperatures below freezing.
Charging or maintenance of the battery is done fully automatically in 5 steps.
Step 1: Diagnosis and Recovery.
Step 2: Bulk: Charging at high or medium speed.
Step 3: Absorption: Fully charge to almost 100%.
Step 4: Stand-by function: The charger monitors the battery's current.
Step 5: Trickle charge: Charges battery to 14.4 Volts if it drops below 12.8 VoltsProtected against overheating, short circuit and incorrect connection. Charging starts when the correct charging mode is selected. Charge up to a maximum of 3.5 amps, depending on the type of battery. The charger is supplied with battery terminals with snap-lock connection.
