The 3.0 liter S55B30 turbo engine of the BMW M2 Competition / M3 / M4 models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. The cooling of the charged air is thus realized by a water-cooled intercooler that will be replaced by this WagnerTuning high-performance intercooler.
The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new competition core (Tube Fin) with the external core dimensions 287mm x 185mm x 115mm / 11.3Inch x 7.3Inch x 4.5Inch. This intercooler core was developed directly for the high demands of the S55 engine and offers 114% more external core volume compared to the standard intercooler.
The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. That's why this kit is also perfect for racing use. An optimal cooling effect of the charged air with a significant performance increase!Content;
