W agner Tuning Competition Package EVO3 RS3 8V without cat tubes
The high-performance intercooler has the following dimensions (515 mm x 367 mm x 95 mm [stepped] = 16.5 l) and thus offers an 84% larger inlet surface area and 101% more intercooler volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed competition-quality grille ensures sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler. This is a high-quality tube-fin grille with internal turbulators. The intercooler end casings are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using flow analyses in the CFD system. Integrated air guides in the inlet ensure even charging of the intercooler. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore ideally suited for racing. The intercooler and crossmember form a stable unit and weigh only 14.3 kg. Installation takes place on the original mounting points and is easy to carry out (1:1 replacement). Tested up to 6 bar and pressure resistant.
