    In new vehicles with a Canbus connection, when connecting a trailer or bicycle carrier with LED lighting, there is a problem that the on-board computer of the towing vehicle gives an error message. This Carpoint LED Canbus converter solves malfunctions or other error messages when used in combination with a car and a trailer or bicycle carrier with LED lighting.

    The Carpoint Canbus adapter communicates with the Canbus system of the towing vehicle. The adapter has two 13-pin plugs and is easy to place between the 13-pin connection of the car and the trailer or bike carrier.

      I received the message when connecting the LED bike rack indicator to the broken connector. This wasn't the case. The adapter has now fixed the problem.
