Audi RS5 F5 331 kW/450 hp from 2017The 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine of the Audi RS4/RS5 is equipped with an indirect cooling circuit for the intercooler. Therefore, the intercooler air is not cooled (as is usual) using ambient air as a coolant, but rather via a dedicated cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature therefore equates to improved cooling performance of the intercooled air. This is precisely where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING upgrade water cooler come into play. The newly developed Competition racing net of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increases the cooling volume of the standard water cooler by a total of 55%. The ratio of inner to outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer while simultaneously ensuring that adjacent components (e.g., the downstream engine water cooler) still have sufficient airflow for heat exchange. Furthermore, the water coolers are provided with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating, guaranteeing a lasting cooling effect. The system can also be installed easily and plug & play using our installation manual.
