Replace heater resistor

You can push this aside to reach the resistance properly. You can remove the old heater resistor by turning it a quarter turn to the left. After removing the heater resistor, the power strip can also be disconnected. By shining a flashlight into the housing from below, it becomes visible where the new heater resistor should be placed. After placing the new resistor, the power strip can be reconnected and the air hose can be correctly placed again. Replacing the heater resistor takes about half a day.

A defect in the heater resistor is often the result of a heavy running fan motor. It is therefore advisable to replace the fan motor when replacing the heater resistor, which is also called the heater fan motor.
