Clutch cylinder broken

When the clutch cylinder is broken, there are a number of symptoms by which you can recognize this. The first symptom is a "floppy" clutch pedal. For example, the clutch pedal stays put when you press it instead of it coming back up. The clutch cannot now disengage properly and therefore cannot shift. Another symptom is too little brake fluid in the reservoir. Cloudy or dark brake fluid in the reservoir can also indicate a defect. This is caused by leaks at the cylinder. You can often also see a leak on the car mats on the floor of your car or on the engine block. Traces of brake fluid will then be found here. In general you will soon feel a leaking or broken cylinder in the pedal. If you notice these symptoms, be sure to check the cylinder as soon as possible and replace it if necessary.
