    Loctite 648 screw lock 24ml

    LOCTITE 648 has been developed for bonding cylindrical fitting parts. The product cures in the absence of air and trapped between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It ensures a solid curing. The product is also suitable for passive materials, has good high temperature performance and good oil tolerance.

    Loctite started and made its name with metal adhesives. These mainly serve to lock bolts and nuts without the need for additional washers. Nowadays they are also widely used in thread sealing, gasket sealing, and cylindrical fasteners. This adhesive is an anaerobic adhesive based on methyl methacrylate.
    The metal adhesives are available in different colours: red, blue and green. Red is permanent, blue is removable, green is removable when heated slightly.
