Oil level sensor

The engine oil level sensor measures how much oil is left in your sump. The sensor is fitted in the sump, and when the oil level drops below a certain point, the sensor is no longer submerged and sends an electrical signal to the ECU. This triggers the oil pressure warning light on your dashboard.
