Replacing the oil level sensor is a time-consuming and messy job. To do this, you first need to drain the engine oil from your system and replace and bleed it afterwards. Additionally, it is difficult to reach the sensor because it is located at the bottom of the sump. Because this takes a lot of time, it is also expensive to have it done at a garage. Oil level sensor

The engine oil level sensor measures how much oil is left in your sump. The sensor is fitted in the sump, and when the oil level drops below a certain point, the sensor is no longer submerged and sends an electrical signal to the ECU. This triggers the oil pressure warning light on your dashboard.
